Our highly skilled executive leadership team with diverse expertise devises and carries out corporate strategy under the leadership of our President and CEO, Mr. Bahman Seifollahi. The complementary skills, experiences, and styles of the team fulfill the “big picture” of best serving our clients daily. Our multi-dimensional engineering team provides engineering design services across a wide range of GSE, hydraulic, and flowmetics systems and components, with engineers ready to address any problem. Design services are integral to our core business, and our team focuses on in-house product engineering for mission-critical applications. The team supports manufacturing best-in-class products and providing quality equipment to global aerospace, military, and industrial markets. Through advanced technologies, we create value for our clients by improving and adding capabilities, from systems engineering and creative design to project management and manufacturing.
Our ready and knowledgeable sales team is available to assist our clients globally with care and excellent service. The members of the team understand which of our products best meet the needs of individual clients and how those products are best employed. Hormoz “Nicky” Ghaemmaghami is the founder and Chairman of the Board of theHydraulics International, Inc. (HII) company.
Nicky began his career as an engineer with NASA in 1962, following which he went to Greer Hydraulics and worked his way up from a project engineer in AGSE to General Manager. In 1976, through difficult economic times, Nicky founded Hydraulics International determined to encourage and facilitate a best in class
working environment for those in his employ. Through Nicky’s meticulous attention to customer relations, his acquisitive model of expansion, and his entrepreneurial persistence HII is today an enviable platform for growth in the aerospace and defense
industry.
Since its founding, HII has constantly strived and achieved the distinction of being at the forefront of the AGSE industry, producing nuclear certified products and systems and other innovative solutions for the most challenging mission critical environments.
With the further distinction of being made in America, Hydraulics International, with its ingenious designs and state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, has become a recognized leader in its domain.
In 2018, after leading HII for over 40 years, Nicky ascended to role of Chairman of the Board where he continues to provide governance, mentorship, and business counsel.
Nicky holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
Chief Executive Officer
Bahman Seifollahi is president and chief executive officer of The Hydraulics International, Inc. (HII) Company, a leading global aerospace and defense company and provider of Aviation Ground Support Equipment (AGSE).
The company employs more than 400 people in Chatsworth, CA, leverages the talents of a U.S. and global AGSE supplier base, and is a top U.S. design and manufacturer of mission critical AGSE products for military and commercial customers.
Seifollahi became HII president and chief executive in January 2018. He has served as a member of HII’s Board of Directors since 2013.
Seifollahi has extensive expertise in a wide array of strategic, business, safety and regulatory matters across AGSE operation as a result of his 47 years of aviation management and operational experience. Using his expansive knowledge of the field, he directs the entire company in the production of goods that serve the AGSE needs of the aerospace and military industries, with a focus on hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. As CEO, Seigollahi is dedicated to forming robust partnerships with major external suppliers, and has been a champion for teamwork and collaboration among the company’s internal cross functional teams.
Seifollahi previously served as VP of Engineering at HII beginning in January 2001. During this period of his time with HII, he focused on creating and driving added-value initiatives with AGSE product developments. Provided necessary guidance and direction across the product design engineering and program management.
Previously, he served as Program Manager at HII, starting in 1984. He provided overall program direction and control for all endeavors carried out by the associated functional disciplines. To meet the needs of the growing company, he focused on streamlining major departmental organizational systems, such as schedules, budgets, the assignment of work responsibilities, as well as the process for control and completion of major programs. During his tenure as Program Manager, Siofallai successfully facilitated the completion of numerous high-level AGSE programs for HII.
Seifollahi began his career at HII as a Project Engineer in March 1982, where he was responsible for overall design of products and contractual specification requirements of customers.
Seifollahi has a Master’s of Business degree in aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Aviation Management from California State University, Los Angeles. He also holds the following licenses: FAA Airframe & Powerplant, FAA Pilot License, Boeing 727 & 707 Aircraft Ratings.
